| hey what kind of tranny fluid you guys using? i switched from the old honda MTF to GM synchromesh FM and it was like a night and day difference. never knew something so great could come from GM. but i heard this new honda MTF (white cap, green label) is supposed to be even better than GM synchromesh.
any of you guys try it out yet? thinking about going to honda to purchase some sometime soon. wanted your opinions | |

| i only use GMsynchromeshFM for my K...i useed to use honda MTF the new one with the green cap...it was too slick...didnt get rid of my second gear grind...switched to GM synchromesh friction modified guess what got rid of the grind...smooth shifts also...id recommend synchromesh make sure u get the friction modified one...recommended over honda MTF | |

| since u mentioned something great that came from GM, honda owners, B n K alike are adapting the GM racing transmission used on the ECOTEC drag motors to Honda motors. who would have thought? | |

| I use 5W30 only. I used redline 75NS90 when I autocrossed a lot last season, but that shit sucks when it gets cold. | |

5w30? work good? whats the weight of the OEM honda tranny fluid? seemed watery as hell when i was playing with a quart of it a while back | |

| just the basic honda MTF. did some research, its suppsoed to be about 80w90.
according to my drifter friend with a 240, alot of nissan guys seem to be in love with shell spiro s synthetic tranny fluid or something very similiar souding. but i dont know if its yellow metal safe............. | |
